quote of the daaay.

"We tell lies when we are afraid... afraid of what we don't know, afraid of what others will think, afraid of what will be found out about us.  But every time we tell a lie, the thing that we fear grows stronger. "

I like this quote because it is so true. We lie because we are afraid, but then once we do, we become even more afraid that people will find out the truth.

  1. Fear and lies go hand in hand. Fear is the feeling of being afraid, anxious or apprehansive about a possible or probable situation or event. I don`t blame one for avoiding these feelings – but, when it involves lying I am concerned. What do you think Kirsten? Where do you draw the line? When must one confront their fear honestly, wholeheartedly, simply?

  2. I draw the line when it comes to lying.
I can't stand them. If people lie then become afraid of others finding the truth, maybe they shouldn't have said anything in the first place.
As far as talking about just plain fear in general, I feel that it is good for people to take risks and confront their fears face to face because it helps to get over them and grow as people.
